Almost 50 students from Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School in Flour Bluff memorized hymns, prayers, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang the National Anthem, and performed skits for Bishop Michael Mulvey during a pastoral visit on Feb. 26.

Fourth grader Sarahi Fernandez is this year’s winner of the Annual Sacred Heart School Spelling Bee held in Rockport on Tuesday, Jan. 28, during National Catholic Schools Week. Students ranging in grades 1st through 5th participated in the event.
