Fort Bend Christian Academy of Sugar Land eliminated the Incarnate Word Academy Lady Angels softball team from the TAPPS 3-4A Regional playoffs by a 4-3 score in a game played on Monday, May 5. The game, which took place in College Station at the Texas A&M Aggie Softball Complex, was an exciting game to watch.

Holy Cross Church won 3rd place in the Religious category in the Buc Days parade. The float featured the parish's Centennial Jubilee celebration. The Door Christian Fellowship took first and second place went to Corpus Christi is the Body of Christ. See photos here.

The game will be at 2 p.m. in College Station at the Texas A&M Aggie Softball Complex. The Lady Angels defeated Northland Christian School 11-4 on Tuesday, April 29, at home at the National Little League Field. See photo here.

Incarnate Word Academy senior Jaran Cadena is a new state record holder and champion of the TAPPS 4A 800 meter run. Cadena finished with a time of 1:55:83 at the TAPPS State Track and Field Meet, which was held in Waco. He broke the previous state record set in 2004.
