The Diocese of Corpus Christi hosted a dinner and orientation at the Corpus Christi International Seamen's Center for those considering ministering to seafarers on May 27. 

Father Ray Yrlas, Jr. celebrated Mass honoring the fifth graders at Sacred Heart School in Rockport. These students have been through Hurricane Harvey, moving to modular classes, enduring the pandemic, learning online and then the closing of the school during the 2021 freeze.

Seminarians Javier James Ebertowski, Javier Palacios, Jr. and Thomas Edward Swierc declared their intention to pursue Holy Orders during Mass on May 30, the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Bishop Michael Mulvey celebrated the Mass at Corpus Christi Cathedral and conferred candidacy to the three young men.
