Msgr. William T. Thompson died Saturday, Feb. 13, at Christus Spohn South in Corpus Christi. Msgr. Thompson, born on Aug. 12, 1925, served the Diocese of Corpus Christi for nearly 62 years.

Sister Mary Anselm Till, IWBS died on Monday, Sept. 7, with her Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament praying at her side. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m.

Sister Margaret Patrice Bradley, 85, a sister of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, died peacefully Aug. 9, with her sisters praying at her bedside.

Sister Mary Beatrice Cruz, 82, a Sister of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, died peacefully at Incarnate Word Convent Friday, July 17.

Deacon Ronald N. Dubuque, “Deacon Ron”, 80, of Corpus Christi died peacefully surrounded by family on June 30. The retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant was a 44-year resident of Corpus Christi and for more than 26-years served as a deacon at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Parish in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

Sister María Begoña Divinagracia, OP, a member of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic passed away peacefully on Dec. 13 at a local hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on Feb. 12, 1939 in Tamboilan Dumangas, Iloilo, Philippines to Anastacio Divinagracia and Felicidad Diasnes.

Sister María Paz Aribon, OP, 72, a member of the Religious Missionaries of St. Dominic passed away peacefully in the Central House of the Dominican Sisters in Flour Bluff on Dec. 10. She was the principal at St. Anthony's Catholic School in Robstown.

Deacon Alfonso Luis Ramirez passed from this life to eternal life on Nov. 2. Deacon Ramirez spent more than 30 years serving the youth and young adults at St. Patrick's, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the Diocese of Corpus Christi, mostly as a volunteer, and the last eight years full time.

Richard Robert Lewinski finished his life of service on Oct. 21. His greatest pleasure in life was proclaiming God’s word on Earth. On Nov. 8, 2008, he was ordained as a Deacon for the Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Corpus Christi and was assigned and served in his home parish of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church in Annaville.

Father Joseph R. Lawless, MSF died on Saturday, Oct. 18, and will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery in Stamford, Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 25. Father Lawless was a priest in the Diocese of Corpus Christi for many years, with his last parish being St. Joseph in Corpus Christi where he served for more than 25 years.

Sister Mary Louise Mount, IWBS, 87, died peacefully at Incarnate Word Convent on Monday, Sept. 29. She was born Mary Louise Jackson on Oct. 31, 1926 in Houston to the late Francis Harold Jackson and Edna Emaline Wilson Jackson.

Father Kelly Nemeck, OMI passed away in San Antonio on Sept. 11 and was laid to rest in a private service at Lebh Shomea in Sarita after a funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sept 17.

Sister Teresita Rodriguez, 77, Sister of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, was called to her eternal home Saturday, Aug. 9at Incarnate Word Convent in Corpus Christi, surrounded by her Sisters in her religious community, family and friends. She had spent several years in cancer treatment before choosing hospice in the final stages of the disease.
