Praying with God's Creation Retreat

Saturday, April 18, 2026, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PMThe event will start with Mass in the parish followed by the retreat where people will be free to pick up some light refreshments before settling in their group. The retreat will start from a contemplative atmosphere and the historical essence of Creation and its Theology. There will be prayer in several parts of the retreat using the wisdom of the Ecological Saints and the encyclical or letter of Pope Francis Laudato Si'.
The participants will be invited to reflect the Theology of Creation, their favorite part in nature, and their own personal encounter with the saints. Using synodal method, the small group will learn from each other's sharing and reflection on the teachings of the Laudato Si', the nature and our faith. The retreat will end with an invitation to take actions for the vulnerable brothers and sisters.
