Catholic education across the Diocese has continued to form students in academic excellence rooted in faith. In 2025 your support helped 138 families, supported operational stability, faith formation programming, and leadership development for school administrators and teachers.

With more than 520 active students and over 33 young adults preparing to receive the sacraments this spring, campus ministry in Corpus Christi, Beeville, and Kingsville continues to expand. These efforts reach college students during a pivotal stage of life. Through this support, campus ministers have been able to grow their outreach, cultivate student leadership in the faith, and offer retreats, Bible studies, and service opportunities.

We are currently blessed with three seminarians in formation, four young men discerning their call to the priesthood, and 19 men in formation for the permanent diaconate. Through your generosity, the Diocese supports seminarians by providing for their education, room and board, and daily needs. Your support also ensures that our permanent deacons receive the formation necessary to serve the Church faithfully in mind, heart, and soul.

Our priests faithfully administer the sacraments, accompany families, and lead our parishes. After a lifetime of service, your contributions help provide
for the needs of our retired priests, including transportation, meals, and housing at the Saint John Vianney Clergy Residence. There, they are given a
comfortable home and opportunities to continue celebrating Mass and participating in spiritual retreats.

Across our Diocese, more adults are responding to God’s call through evangelization and catechesis. In 2025, 302 people completed their sacraments of initiation. In 2026, that number grew to 475. Your support helps welcome new Catholics, form disciples, and guide individuals deeper into the life of the Church.

Your support helps us minister, connect and share the living story of our Church across South Texas, in English and Spanish. Through our Sunday Mass broadcast and South Texas Catholic magazine reaching more than 21,000 households, we bring the Gospel to the homebound, the sick, those in prison, and our faithful, united in our Risen Lord.

The goal of the 2026 Bishop’s Stewardship Appeal is close to $8 million; however, the needs of the Diocese of Corpus Christi far exceed this number. It will be to the benefit of the ministries that are supported by the Bishop’s Annual Appeal to be as successful as possible.

- Stock Gifts - Appreciated Securities, Transfer ownership of appreciated stock to charity.
- IRA Gifts - A gift from your retirement plan can be made by rollover or donating your required minimum distribution.
- Bequests in your will.
- Life Insurance - Name a charitable beneficiary to your life insurance plan.
- Life income plan - Charitable remainder trusts provide a stream of income for life or a term of years with the remainder to charity.
- Endowments - The corpus of the gift is invested, and the earnings are distributed annually to support the need you designated in perpetuity.
