The South Texas Catholic is the official publication of the Diocese of Corpus Christi, which encompasses a 12-county area in the Coastal Bend. The area's total population is about 565,000, with a Catholic population of more than 395,000.
The magazine is a quarterly magazine. In 2025, we will begin publishing in the Spring (March), followed by Summer (July), Fall (September) and Winter (November). The South Texas Catholic has a circulation of 21,000 mailed directly to our readers' homes. The subscription is accessible to those living within the diocese, and it costs $25 per year for those outside the 12-county area.
The format offers a strong emphasis on evangelization to lead the reader to an encounter with Christ and a clear understanding of the Gospel and our Catholic faith.
The South Texas Catholic advertising rates are net for color, and designing is available at no additional charge. Discounts are available for chancery offices, parishes, schools, and local non-profit organizations, as well as two- to four-time pre-scheduled runs.
