We are pleased to share that applications for tuition assistance for the 2026-2027 school year will open soon. To ensure a fair, consistent, and secure process, the Diocese of Corpus Christi continues to partner with FACTS Management Company to assess financial need. Application Cycles & Deadlines
•Cycle I: Opens February 9, 2026. Applications must be verified by April 24, 2026. •Cycle II: Opens May 4, 2026. Applications must be verified by June 26, 2026.
Applications are submitted online through the FACTS Grant & Aid portal. A non-refundable application fee is paid directly to FACTS; one application may be used for multiple children and schools. Families without a computer may contact their school office for assistance. FACTS Customer Care is also available at (866) 441-4637 to support families throughout the process.
With the introduction of the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program, all families seeking need-based tuition assistance from the Diocese or a diocesan school are expected to apply for an Education Freedom Account (EFA), if eligible. The TEFA application portal opens February 4, 2026, and closes March 17, 2026, allowing families time to first apply for TEFA before submitting an application for diocesan tuition assistance. As part of the diocesan application process, parents will be asked to indicate whether a TEFA application was submitted or if they chose not to apply for an EFA. Parents are encouraged to apply for diocesan assistance as a backup should TEFA funding not be secured this year.
Because our goal is to serve as many families as possible, please know that diocesan and/or school-based tuition assistance may be reduced or withdrawn if a family is awarded an EFA, which has a value of $10,474 per student per year. Visit our website at www.ESACC.org for more information. For your convenience, we have included the state’s Parent Checklist so you can begin gathering the required documentation, along with an informational guide to TEFA.
We look forward to partnering with you and supporting your child’s educational journey in the year ahead.
Thank you,
Dr. Rebecca Hammel Superintendent of Catholic Schools
