Whatever your resolutions are, it’s better to journey in company: Bishop Michael Mulvey invites everyone to join him on the way from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. He prepared a video series with inspiring commentaries related to the Sunday readings.
The series starts on Ash Wednesday, inviting everyone to be ambassadors of Christ. It continues with a reflection on “Temptations – are you ready to enter the desert with Christ?” for the First Sunday of Lent.
Week 2 features “Be Faithful – Don’t be afraid to listen to Him.” The third Sunday focuses on wisdom: “Follow Him more than just 10 Commandments.” God’s love is the topic of the 4th Sunday, meaning “more sacrifice generates more love, more life.”
Week 5 deals with obedience – “Are you willing to suffer to find your true self?” And for the Holy week, the Bishop will talk about “His life exchanged. Easter Sunday (March 31 this year) is all about the joy of the resurrection.
The videos will be available on our website, diocesecc.org/lent and on the Diocese of Corpus Christi's YouTube channel. Every Saturday around 4 pm, you will find the reflection of the new week.
