For 59 years, Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi has been providing Christmas food boxes to those in need across the 12 counties of the Diocese of Corpus Christi. For 44 years, they have proudly partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots Program, bringing joy to children in Nueces County. This year, they will provide holiday meals to 2,500 households and support families registering in person by assisting them with their Toys for Tots applications.
Registration will be open from October 1 to October 28, or until all available applications have been filled. Due to the limited number of applications, early registration is strongly recommended. Families can register during the month of October either online at catholiccharities-cc.org/community-christmas or in person, Mondays through Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. Please note that registration for a food box is required. Applicants must provide a photo ID, proof of residence, and email address (one box per household).
The distribution dates for registered participants will be December 16-18 at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. The “Blessing of the People” by Bishop Michael Mulvey will be held on December 16 at 8:30 am at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. All are welcome to attend.
