This status was affirmed under the direction of our late Holy Father, Pope Francis, who instructed each diocese to designate sites where pilgrims could receive a plenary indulgence. Importantly, the holy designation applies to the entire property, not just the inside of the church, so entering the building is not required to fulfill the pilgrimage.
See a Cathedral Deacon or stop by the parish office during open hours to have your Jubilee Passport stamped. Parish Office Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Please note the Parish Office recently moved to the Liturgical Music office facing N. Upper Broadway St.
When visiting the Cathedral grounds, we invite you to:
Locate the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the courtyard and spend time in prayer.
Attend daily Mass with Fr. Stembler in Emmanuel Chapel, located beneath the Cathedral structure. Monday – Friday: 7:00 am & 12:05 pm and on Sunday at 7:00 am.
Either of these fulfills the requirements for receiving the Jubilee indulgence.
