Life-sized nativity attracts viewers

Ray and Pat Bocanegra are keeping Christ in Christmas with a life size display of the Nativity in their front yard on 4826 Willowbrook Dr. in Corpus Christi. The Bocanegras have been erecting the display for 14 years and take comfort that many people in Corpus Christi drive by their home every Christmas season. They began to put up the Nativity on Oct. 1 and finish about Thanksgiving. The Nativity includes the Holy Family, the three Wise Men, shepherds and their life size camels and other animals, including live doves. Across the street, their sons Jacob and Jason are beginning to create their own display with Mary and Joseph making their way to Bethlehem.
