Avilés, C.O., sits down with Very Reverend Thottankera Raju, Vicar for Clergy and Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Corpus Christi, and Pastor of Saint Peter, Prince of the Apostles, for a thoughtful reflection on the First Sunday of Lent. As the world speaks loudly and distractions compete for our attention, they invite the faithful to listen instead for the voice of the Lord. Reflecting on the Gospel and the reality of temptation, they remind us that Lent is a holy season of grace and a time to recognize the trials around us, rely on God’s strength, and grow in faith through the fruit of the Cross.
